So now you have a one-on-one scheduled with your manager. How do you make the most of it? 🤔

Lucky for you, we have a few more tips to help you use the interim review process to keep yourself on track to meet your goals.

#1 - Acknowledge any gaps in your performance.
#2 - Identify any challenges that affect that gap.
#3 - List any strategies you can use to close that gap.
#4 - Create a plan that you can commit to.

Bonus tip - Then, execute the plan!

For state employees in the Indy area--our Slow-Pitch softball league is starting back up with a call-out meeting this Wednesday, June 29.

Join us at noon in IGC South Conference Room 10 to learn more about the season and start building your team.

Teams consist of four women and six men, at minimum, and can be up to 25 players. Teams usually consist of current and former state employees, contractors, and their relatives.

To ensure that you're giving and receiving effective evaluations, here are a few tips you can use to your one-on-ones:

#1 - Clarify your expectations so you have clear goal markers along the way.
#2 - Have frequent conversations to monitor your so you always know where you stand.
#3 - Document so you can track progress.
