Last night’s results were not what we hoped for, but I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported our campaign for Lawrence Township Constable.
Whether you contributed financially, knocked on doors, put up yard signs, told your friends and neighbors, worked the polls in the cold rain, shared our posts, or offered advice and words of encouragement — thank you.
Campaigns come with long days, tough moments, and a lot of sacrifice, but the support I received from all of you made it worthwhile.
I especially want to thank my wife Joni, my family and closest advisers who sacrificed much throughout this campaign and stood by me every step of the way.
While we fell short tonight, I am incredibly proud of the positive campaign we ran.
Congratulations to Tracey Cantrell on the victory and I wish him the best of luck.
Public service has always mattered deeply to me, and that will not change. I will continue to support and serve this community.
Thank you all!

I’ve had a lot of friends tell me they want to vote for me, but they’ve never voted in a primary before — so here’s how easy it is:
When you go to vote, they’ll scan your ID. Then, on the screen, you simply select Democrat, and they’ll print your ballot.
Then just vote:
✔️ Erik J. Forestal — Lawrence Township Constable
That’s it. Takes just a few minutes.
🗳️ Early voting continues this weekend from 11 AM – 6 PM at the Fort Ben Library (9330 E. 56th St.)
🗳️ Or vote on Election Day — Tuesday, May 5th!
I’d truly appreciate your support — thank you!
