BOIL WATER NOTICE – City of Ingleside

September 1, 2026

Due to a loss of water pressure caused by a water main break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Ingleside Public Water System (PWS #2050002) to issue a Boil Water Notice for all customers.

Until further notice, residents should boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or other human consumption purposes.

Bring water to a vigorous rolling boil for two minutes, then allow it to cool before use.

Bottled water or another suitable source may also be used.

Children, seniors, and individuals with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable and should take special precautions.

The City of Ingleside will notify residents as soon as the water is safe and the Boil Water Notice has been rescinded.

Code Compliance officers are out patrolling Zone 2 and Zone 3 today for overgrown grass and weeds! (This area encompasses south of Hwy 361 east to Ave. A, north to 12th Street and east to Pace Ave.. Then, south to 8th Street west of Ave. A and 6th Street to the east city limits line.) Please make sure you are also mowing your alleyways and easements that are adjacent to your property. This will help cut down on the mosquitoes breeding in the tall grasses.

EDIT: Just to clarify, we are only out to remind our citizens since we have had so much recent rain! Thank you!
