Ingram Fire Department

10/23/2026

Ingram Volunteer Fire Department kicked off the week responding to a vehicle fire. While every call brings its own challenges, we are always ready to step up and serve our community.

To our supporters, donors, and everyone who stands behind our department, THANK YOU! Your continued support helps make it possible for our firefighters to answer these calls and serve the community we all call home. Every donation, kind word, and show of support makes a difference, and we are grateful to have you in our corner.

When the tones drop, our volunteers show up ready to serve. We couldn’t do what we do without the support of people like you! ❤️🚒

We may bend, but we won’t break.

🚨🚧 Attention to motorists in 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗿𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 --
⚠️𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 ⚠️

The Kerr County Road & Bridge Department reminds motorists that Cade Loop Bridge is 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 to traffic, even though both approaches from Cade Loop and TX39 have been repaired to a passable standard.

🔨 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧'𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚?
The bridge deck is currently resting on rollers that allow the contractor to reposition the bridge. The bridge is NOT SAFE for vehicle traffic at this time.

📅 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘:
🔹 Bridge work is scheduled to continue through Friday, Oct. 23.

🔹 The bridge will remain 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 throughout the weekend.

🔹 Work will resume Monday, Oct. 26.

⛔ 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗦! Doing so is ILLEGAL and could cause additional delays in completing the project.

👮 𝗟𝗔𝗪 𝗘𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 has been requested to enforce the closure and help protect motorists and construction crews.

🙏 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗕𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧! We understand the inconvenience, but the bridge must remain closed until it is safe to reopen.

🚧 Just because the road looks passable DOES NOT mean the bridge is open!

📢 Please SHARE this notice with friends, family and neighbors who travel in the Cade Loop and TX 39 area.

Thank you for your cooperation!

🧡💜 WALK WITH KAYDIN! 💜🧡

Some people leave a lasting impression on your heart, and Kaydin is one of those special people. Her story touched the hearts of several of our members, and we were honored to have her and her family visit us at the station a while back.

During their visit, we had the opportunity to show Kaydin our apparatuses and let her get some nozzle time in! 🚒 The smiles on her face, along with those of her family and friends, made that visit one to remember. It was a special day for all of us, and Kaydin reminded us just how much strength, courage, and hope one young person can inspire.

Now, we want to help spread the word and show our support for Kaydin and her family as they continue their journey. We encourage everyone to come out and support the Walk with Kaydin 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, November 7th, at Tivy Stadium in Kerrville!

Let’s show Kaydin and her family that they have a whole community standing behind them. 🧡💜

Steps of Strength. Steps of Hope. Steps for Kaydin.

🚒❤️ We love seeing our fire department family support one another!

A few of our Ingram VFD members made it out to support Mountain Home Fire Dept fundraiser, while a couple more headed to Stonewall to show their support!

We know how much work goes into putting on these fundraisers, and we’re always happy to support our neighboring departments whenever we can. We’re all part of the same fire service family, and supporting each other is what it’s all about!

Thank you to Mountain Home and Stonewall for everything you do for your communities. We’re proud to stand alongside you! ❤️🔥

Small departments, big hearts, and a whole lot of teamwork! 🚒

🚒❤️ LET’S SHOW OUR VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS SOME LOVE! ❤️🚒

Today, two of our neighboring volunteer fire departments, Stonewall Volunteer Fire Department and Mountain Home Fire Dept are hosting fundraisers, and Ingram Volunteer Fire Department wants to help spread the word! 🙌🔥

Our neighboring departments give so much of their time, energy, and heart to serving their communities. Being a volunteer firefighter means answering the call, making sacrifices, and showing up for others when they need it most — often while balancing jobs, families, and everyday life.

Fundraisers like these help keep our departments equipped, supported, and ready to serve when the call comes in. Every donation, every meal purchased, every raffle ticket, and every share makes a difference! ❤️

We encourage our Ingram community to get out today, support our neighboring departments, and show them the same love and support they show our communities every day!

We may serve different communities, but we share the same mission: serving others and protecting our neighbors. 🚒🤝

From our family at Ingram VFD to our fellow first responders, we are cheering you on and wishing you a successful fundraiser! Let’s show up, support one another, and remind our volunteers that their hard work never goes unnoticed!

STRONGER TOGETHER. ALWAYS. ❤️🔥

We are proud to support our neighbors at Mountain Home Fire Dept as they host their fundraising event this Saturday!

Our fire service family is built on teamwork, support, and showing up for one another when it matters most. When one department needs a helping hand, we stand together! ❤️‍🔥

We encourage our community to come out, show your support, and help make their event a success. Every dollar raised helps support the dedicated men and women who volunteer their time to protect our communities.

🚒 Let’s pack it out, show some love, and support Mountain Home VFD!

Small communities. Big hearts. One fire family. ❤️🤝

Only 2 days left come out and support the Mountain Home Fire Dept.

🚒❤️ WE HAD THE BEST TIME AT HAPPY JACKS! ❤️🚒

What a fun day for the members of Ingram Volunteer Fire Department! We were so excited to bring our fire trucks, firefighters, and a whole lot of smiles to Happy Jacks! 🧑‍🚒🚒

Getting to spend time with these amazing kiddos, talk with them, show them the trucks, and simply engage, laugh, and make memories was the absolute highlight of our day! 🥰🔥

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. Being able to connect with the kids in our community, let them meet their local firefighters, and hopefully put a few big smiles on their faces means so much to us! ❤️

A HUGE thank you to Happy Jacks Learning Center for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to hang out with your kiddos! We are already looking forward to the next time! 🥳

🚒 Your local firefighters are always happy to show up, lend a hand, and spend some time with our community!

❤️🚒 WHEN THEY SHOW UP FOR US, WE SHOW UP FOR THEM. 🚒❤️

Today we made a stop over at Pipe Creek Volunteer Fire Department’s fundraising day, and honestly, it was an easy decision to be there.

Pipe Creek has supported Ingram VFD time and time again. They share our posts, come out and support our fundraisers, cheer us on, and have always been willing to help spread the word about what we’re doing in our community.

So today, we wanted to return the favor. ❤️

Pipe Creek — thank you for always supporting us. We appreciate the friendship and the continued support more than you know!

And to everyone who stopped by to support them today — THANK YOU! This is what makes our fire service community so special. ❤️🔥

Drop a ❤️ below if you believe in fire departments supporting fire departments!

Ingram has your back, Pipe Creek! 🚒🤝🚒
