💧 CITY OF INMAN – STAGE 1 WATER WATCH 💧

The City of Inman has currently used approximately 67% of its annual water right of 82,860,000 gallons. In response to current water conditions, the Inman City Council has entered Stage 1: Water Watch under the City’s Water Conservation Plan.

Stage 1 is a Water Watch and does not currently impose mandatory water restrictions. The goal is to increase awareness of our water supply and encourage everyone to use water wisely.

Residents and businesses are asked to voluntarily conserve water, particularly by reducing unnecessary outdoor water use and making efficient use of water indoors.

A few simple ways to help:
• Limit unnecessary lawn and outdoor watering.
• Wash only full loads of laundry and dishes.
• Take shorter showers.
• Turn off faucets while brushing teeth or completing other tasks.
• Check for and repair leaking faucets, toilets, and irrigation systems.
• Avoid unnecessary vehicle washing and other high-water-use activities.

The City will also be monitoring its own water use and limiting activities such as hydrant flushing, vehicle washing, and street cleaning when possible.

Every gallon conserved helps protect our community’s water supply.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and will continue to provide updates as water conditions change.
