Happy National Smile Day! Sometimes all it takes to cheer someone up is a friendly smile. On this beautiful Sunday, Lisa set out to see how many people she could reach out to with just a smile. Today she spent the day roaming around Citrus County, visiting the beautiful parks and trails we have in the county. This morning, you may have seen her in Crystal River walking around Citrus Avenue having her morning coffee. She ended her day in Inverness at Liberty Park with her faithful companion, Gidget.

Tomorrow is the first day of June, which means 78 days until election day!!! 😊

Yesterday, Lisa Yeager and Rocco Maglio, co-owner of the Hernando Sun, had the distinct honor of serving as guest judges for Bree's Riverside Restaurant's inaugural Antique Car Show and Vendor Market.

Approximately 40 vehicles were presented for evaluation. The classic automobiles were impeccably restored, and their owners enthusiastically shared insights into the restoration processes. Ultimately, selecting the recipients for the "Best in Show" and "People's Choice" awards proved challenging, though the final determinations were successfully reached.

The "People's Choice" award was presented to a 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air Station Wagon. The "Best in Show" award was conferred upon the 1935 Ford Truck.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured freedoms that so many of us enjoy every single day — freedoms that were never free.

In the busyness of life, it can be easy to take those liberties for granted. But today is a reminder that behind every flag waving proudly in the breeze is a story of courage, sacrifice, and love of country.

Lisa Yeager believes deeply in honoring those who served, supporting the families who sacrificed alongside them, and protecting the values that make America strong — faith, freedom, justice, and community.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to remember the heroes who made those moments possible.

To all who have served, and especially to those who gave everything for this nation — thank you. We remember you. We honor you. 🇺🇸

🎓 From high school stadiums & gymnasiums to college commencement stages, this is the season of turning tassels, proud families, happy tears, and big dreams beginning their next chapter.

Lisa Yeager would like to congratulate all of this year’s graduates across our communities. Your hard work, perseverance, and determination brought you to this milestone — and that is something worth celebrating.

Whether you’re heading into the workforce, serving your community, continuing your education, or still discovering the road ahead, remember this: strong communities are built by people willing to work hard, do what’s right, and keep moving forward even when life gets challenging.

Those same values are what Lisa believes belong in our courtrooms as well ... fairness, integrity, accountability, and a commitment to the future of our communities.

As families gather this graduation season to celebrate achievement and opportunity, Lisa remains committed to helping build a judicial system that protects and supports the next generation.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓

Your future is bright, and our communities are stronger because of you.

This week, we proudly celebrate National EMS Week and honor the incredible paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and first responders who answer the call on some of life’s hardest days.

Whether responding to a medical emergency on a quiet country road, comforting a frightened child after an accident, or standing beside law enforcement and firefighters during a crisis, EMS professionals serve our communities with courage, compassion, and steady professionalism. They are often the calm in the middle of chaos.

As Lisa Jaeger continues her campaign for Circuit Court Judge in Florida’s 5th Judicial Circuit, she recognizes the vital role first responders play in protecting our communities and supporting the justice system. Strong communities are built when law enforcement, EMS, firefighters, and the courts work together with integrity, fairness, and respect for the people they serve.

This EMS Week, Lisa Jaeger thanks every EMS professional across Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion, and Sumter Counties for the sacrifices you make every single day - often without recognition, but never without appreciation.

Your service matters. Your dedication matters. And this community is stronger because of you. 🚑💙

This week, our nation pauses to honor the brave men and women of law enforcement during National Police Week.
Today in Washington, DC, the streets were filled with the thunder of motorcycles and bicycles and the sight of officers from across the country riding together in remembrance, respect, and unity. It was a powerful reminder that behind every badge is a person willing to stand in harm’s way to protect our communities. 🇺🇸🏍️

Here in Florida’s 5th Judicial Circuit, the partnership between law enforcement and the courts plays a vital role in keeping our communities safe.

A strong Circuit Court Judge understands that justice requires both compassion and accountability — supporting the men and women who protect our neighborhoods while ensuring fairness under the law.

As a candidate for the Circuit Court Judge, Lisa Yeager recognizes the importance of that balance.

From smaller communities like Inverness — a town known for its strong community spirit and love of riding culture — to every corner of the circuit, she is committed to upholding the law, protecting families, and serving with integrity.

During this Police Week, we honor those who serve, those we’ve lost, and those who continue to stand the line every single day. Thank you to all law enforcement officers for your sacrifice and dedication. 💙🖤

From celebrating local businesses to supporting community causes, Lisa Yeager spent the weekend doing what she does best — showing up, listening, and connecting with the people who make our communities so special. ❤️

Lisa had the opportunity to attend Paws in the Plaza and celebrate the 3-year anniversary of Hart's Meat Market at Horse Lake Plaza in Brooksville before heading over to the Hernando County Blueberry Festival.

One of the most emotional moments of the day came when Lisa witnessed a rescue dog find his forever family right before her eyes. There wasn’t a dry eye around. Moments like that remind us what community is really about — compassion, second chances, and people coming together for something bigger than themselves.

Lisa also spent time talking with Nancy Clarke, taking the opportunity to truly listen and learn more about her story and the issues that matter most to local families and business owners. That willingness to listen is exactly what sets Lisa apart.

A great judge doesn’t just know the law — they know the people, the communities, and the values they serve.

From the agricultural roots of our region to the small businesses, nonprofits, families, and hometown traditions that define the 5th Circuit, Lisa Yeager continues to prove she is deeply connected to the heart of Hernando County, Citrus County, Lake County, Marion County, and Sumter County.

That’s the kind of leadership, compassion, and community understanding we need in our next Circuit Court Judge.
