A scrapbook of today 📸
Today, cadets representing the University of Iowa had the opportunity to take part in a decades-long tradition: carrying the game ball from Iowa City to Tama to meet with Iowa State cadets.
Along the way, MHBN made stops in the Williamsburg, Marengo, Belle Plaine, and South Tama school districts, as well as a local nursing home. These stops provided an opportunity for cadets to connect with members of the communities we pass through and share the spirit of the Iowa–Iowa State rivalry.
This tradition is incredibly special to our program. It allows us to build camaraderie and lasting connections not only with our fellow Iowa State cadets, but also with the small rural communities that make Iowa special. We are proud to be part of a tradition that brings together cadets, schools, and communities across the state.
Go Hawks! 🖤💛
