Carl Nylen for Select Board I have lived in Ipswich with my wife Lisa, who teaches at the Winthrop School, and two daughters since 2000.

I have spent 30 years in the technology industry managing business development for Esri, focused mainly on state & local government. My community service has included:
- 9 years on the Ipswich School Committee, as a Chair, Vice-Chair and Member
- Community Development Plan Steering Committee, Member
- Climate Resiliency Committee, Member
- Strategic Planning Committee, Member
- Athletic Fields Study Committee, Member
