Another training night. It's always fun to train what you love. Fire + water = more training hours!! And we got to practice more with our rental truck.

🚨🚨 Important Announcement

09/12/2026

Today we had an amazing training at Freddie's Towing with Citizens First Fire Training. Freddie took care of getting cars for us to cut, let us use his place, and even fed us all. Lawrence Township, Upper Township FD , and Hamilton Township all came together for an amazing training. This training is vital so we are ready to give our best when someone needs it. Huge thank you to Freddie Sisler for making this happen!
Also I'd like to point out the picture of the flag, Freddie made sure that the flag pole was placed before our training. He knew that it's important to us to start our trainings with the pledge. Again we can't thank him enough!!!

This is a huge issue in our little neck of the woods as well!

Ohio is facing a shortage of volunteer firefighters, which could lead to fewer trained personnel responding to emergencies, particularly in the state’s rural communities. https://nbc4i.co/4gvIZLI?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_NBC4

We are always looking for people that want to give back to the community. We have many different ways of doing that here at HTVFD.
Contact us or come to any Monday meeting

Please consider ordering a spaghetti dinner and supporting Jay. The fire community is one big family, we may wear different numbers on our shirts but we are all in this together!! Helping them is helping us.
