The Orange County Division was proud to host her and Orange County Transporation Authority CEO Darrell Johnson at the last General Membership meeting in Mission Viejo. The Orange County Division’s General Membership meeting (Friday, July 31, 2015).

The Orange County Division’s General Membership meeting took tplace on Friday, July 31, at the Los Alamitos Race Course in the City of Cypress. The Division hosted a Local Government Forum featuring Orange County’s Assemblymember Ling Ling Chang and Assemblymember Matthew Harper. The meeting was a success with over 80 city elected officials in attendance.

The Orange County Division of the League of California Cities was proud to host Assembly Members Young Kim (65th District) and Bill Brough (73rd District) as the keynote speakers for a Local Government Forum during the Division's General Membership meeting at Irvine City Hall. There were over 70 city elected officials in attendance to discuss priority issues impacting local government.

The Orange County Division's Membership was honored to host Assembly Minority Republican Leader Connie Conway as the special guest for the installation reception during the League of California Cities annual conference. Assembly Member Conway conducted this year's swearing-in of the Orange County Division's Board of Directors.

The Orange County Division of the League of California Cities held its General Membership meeting at 2nd Street Promenade at the Artists Village in the City of Santa Ana on Thursday, July 31. Over 75 city elected officials and city staff were in attendance to hear keynote speaker Mr. Alan Murphy, Director of John Wayne Airport, discuss how the airport plans to meet soaring demand and tap into the international tourist market in order to boost our local economy.

The Orange County Division of the League of California Cities held its General Membership meeting on Thursday, April 17, in the City of Buena Park’s Pirates Dinner Adventure. The Division hosted Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva from 65th District, who serves as the Committee Chair on Veteran Affairs, the Select Committee Chair on Job Creation for the New Economy and on the Committees on Transportation and Housing and Community Development. League Fiscal Policy Advisor Michael Coleman also provided city leaders an update on the State’s economy, and impacts of the State budget to the local government sector. Over 75 city officials attended this meeting, representing all areas of Orange County.
