It is with a heavy heart that we announce the off-duty passing of Fire Equipment Operator Joshua Brandes on October 1, 2024.
FEO Brandes originally served in our Fire Prevention Division before transitioning to Fire Suppression. He was a coordinator for the Irving Citizen’s Fire Academy program and an active member on our Peer Support team.
Please keep his family, friends, station crew and IPFFA brothers and sisters in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
