💙💛 Thank You for Joining Us for Parenting Day! 💛💙

What a wonderful day at St. Elmo Elementary! 🐾 We want to thank all of our parents and families who joined us for Parenting Day. Your involvement and partnership make a difference in the lives of our Cougar Cubs!

Our day began with presentations where parents learned more about what it means to be a Title I school and the importance of regular school attendance in helping students succeed. We then enjoyed a fun Book Character Parade, welcomed parents into our classrooms to pick up report cards, and wrapped up the day with a picnic outside in the beautiful weather! ☀️📚🧺

A special thank you to the Azalea Trail Maids for joining us and helping make our day even more special! 💐 We are grateful for your time and for being part of our St. Elmo family!

Days like these remind us that when schools, families, and our community work together, our students thrive! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to celebrate learning and be part of our school community.

💙💛 Thank You for Joining Us for Parenting Day! 💛💙

What a wonderful day at St. Elmo Elementary! 🐾 We want to thank all of our parents and families who joined us for Parenting Day. Your involvement and partnership make a difference in the lives of our Cougar Cubs!

💙💛 We can’t wait to see our St. Elmo families tomorrow, Monday, October 19, for Statewide Parenting Day!

Join us as we celebrate the important role YOU play in your child’s education. Together, we are Growing Greatness, One Student at a Time!

Here’s what’s planned:

• 10:30 a.m. — Presentations in the gym
• 11:00 a.m. — Book Character Parade
• 11:20 a.m. — Classroom visits
• 11:30 a.m. — Picnic lunch

Please remember these important details:

• All guests will enter through the gym.
• If you take your child out of the teacher’s supervision, you must sign your child out for early dismissal.
• Any adult checking out a student MUST be on the student’s contact list.

Thank you for being our partners in learning. We look forward to a wonderful day of celebrating, connecting, and growing together! 💙💛

🐾 All proceeds go right back into our school!

🎉📚 Way to Go, Cougar Cubs! 🐾💙💛

Friday, we celebrated our Cougar Cubs who met their 1st Quarter Accelerated Reader (AR) goals! 🎯📖 We partnered with Secret Scientist to treat our hardworking readers to a pizza and popcorn party! 🍕🍿

Our schoolwide focus on fluency means we are working every day to help our students become stronger, more confident readers. Through AR, our Cougar Cubs are building reading stamina, strengthening comprehension, and developing the fluency skills they need to succeed!

We are growing greatness and building fluent readers, one student at a time! 🌱📚💙💛

A HUGE thank-you to Secret Scientist for partnering with us to celebrate our students and support their reading success! Your support makes a difference! ❤️

Ms. Bell’s 2nd grade Cougar Cubs are becoming PHONICS MASTERS! 🌟

These growing readers are hard at work practicing their phonics skills by:
✨ Reading words with magic e patterns
🔤 Blending sounds to read words
📖 Practicing syllabication
💪 Building fluency and becoming more confident readers

Every sound, every word, and every page brings our Cougar Cubs one step closer to reading success! We are so proud of the hard work these students are putting into becoming stronger, more fluent readers. 💙💛

👏 Let’s give a big round of applause to our 3rd Grade Cougar Cubs for having the HIGHEST average attendance for 1st Quarter at 96.63%! 🎉 Way to go, 3rd Grade!

Being at school every day matters! 🏫 Every day in the classroom is an opportunity to learn something new, strengthen reading fluency, master math skills, build friendships, and grow academically. Missing school means missing valuable instruction and learning experiences that help students succeed.

Our goal is to have every Cougar Cub here every day, on time, and ready to learn! 💪📚

We are celebrating our Cougar Cubs who met their 1st Quarter Accelerated Reader (AR) goals! 🎉

At St. Elmo Elementary, our schoolwide focus this year is FLUENCY! Reading every night helps students build fluency, strengthen comprehension, and grow into confident readers. We encourage our Cougar Cubs to keep practicing and working toward an 85% or higher average on their AR tests to show they are understanding what they read! 📖✨

We are so proud of our students for their hard work, dedication, and love of reading. Keep turning those pages, reaching those goals, and growing your greatness! 💙💛
