October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗

This month, we honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and encourage everyone to stay informed and keep up with routine screenings.

Early detection matters. Take care of yourself, check in with the women you love, and make your health a priority.

Today, as we mark 25 years since September 11, 2001, we remember the lives that were taken far too soon and the families who continue to carry their memories every day.

We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the heroes who answered the call to serve, and the countless acts of courage and compassion that brought us together during one of our nation’s darkest moments.

For New Jersey, the loss of that day will always hit close to home. Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember, to honor, and to never forget.

Last week, I had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from the Essex Regional Educational Services Commission (ERESC) to our District Office to celebrate $1.5 million in state funding for FY2027.

ERESC provides critical educational programs and support services to students and school districts throughout Essex County, including special education, alternative education, transportation, paraprofessional services, and other essential resources.

I am proud to advocate for investments that strengthen our educational institutions, support educators and families, and help ensure students have access to the resources they need to succeed.

Thank you to the ERESC team for visiting our office and for your continued commitment to serving students and families throughout Essex County.
