We're so excited about Spooky Comics!

It's coming up this Saturday at the Lumberman's Museum, and there's still a little bit of room.

This is a super family friendly event, and it's sure to be a good time!

Spooky Comics! A collaboration between Veterans' Memorial Library Katahdin Children and Families Foundation and Us!!!! This is a free event being held at the Patten Lumberman's Museum on October 10th from 2:30-4:30.

Hi, Folks, I just wanted to pop in and bubble on excitedly for a moment about the Digital Maine Library (which, by the by, you can access easily from our webpage - katahdinpubliclibrary.org).

If you need to research something - ALMOST ANYTHING - The Digital Maine Library is the place to go - and access is FREE to all Maine residents! Here's a short list of some of the resources you can dig into (really short - I don't even get past the Es):

Auto Repair Source - up to date, accurate, "do-it-yourself" service and repair information

Ben's Guide Guide to US Government for Kids - a resource to help students, parents and educators learn about the federal governement.

Business Source Complete - offering full-text coverage of top biz management and economics journals and periodicals covering topics like accounting, banking, finance, marketing and more.
Consumer Health Complete

Consumer Health Complete - a comprehensive database for consumer-oriented health content.
