Fire Lake Park is now open!
Ivins City maintains the improved recreation area known as “Fire Lake” at Ivins Reservoir, but we do not control the reservoir’s water levels. They are controlled by the City of St. George.
As the water levels rose, water began flowing across the sidewalks and parking lot, requiring us to temporarily close the recreation area. Good news is, the spillway worked exactly how it is designed to work for an overflowing reservoir.
Water levels have now dropped below the sidewalk level, allowing us to reopen the park. However, water levels remain high, so please use caution while enjoying the park. As always, stay safe and use Fire Lake at your own risk.
