6:00 PM EDT
Hazel Baker Community Center
128 7th Avenue East

This month’s Civic Education Program will feature Dr. Angela Long, Chief Engagement Officer, Tallahassee State College. Dr. Long is a nationally recognized speaker, researcher, and author whose work focuses on helping prepare communities to better understand both opportunities and challenges presented by Artificial Intelligence (AI). She currently co-leads the Future Ready Tallahassee initiative in partnership with the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming education, leadership, economic development, and the future workforce throughout Florida.
As our nation rapidly enters the "Era of Artificial Intelligence", it is increasingly important citizens, elected officials, educators, not-for-profit organizations, the agricultural community, healthcare professionals, businesses and community leaders understand how AI is reshaping nearly every aspect of modern life..
You will not want to miss hearing Dr. Angela Long's timely presentation and update to the Gadsden County Community on how Artificial Intelligence is shaping Florida's future - and your own!
All Civic Education Programs are open to the public on a nonpartisan basis.
Following the Civic Education Program, and in keeping with established protocol, there will be a formal “firewall” break before the GCREC business meeting is convened.
Please make every effort to attend this month’s GCREC-sponsored Civic Education Program. Participants consistently leave these programs better informed on issues affecting our community and state.
We look forward to seeing you on Monday, August 10th at 6:00 PM EDT in Havana!
