KYTC District 10 is looking for an auto/truck technician IV to work with our equipment garage. Although the location listed is Lee County, you would actually be working in Menifee County.

Beginning today and running through Saturday evening, drivers should be alert for increased traffic on KY 80/Hal Rogers Parkway near the traffic signal at East Perry Elementary as the "King of the Hammers' Ultra4 off-road race takes place. Law enforcement will be present to assist with traffic control and to provide visibility to warn drivers to slow down, be observant, and use caution. In addition, KY 80 will be closed for approximately 15 minutes around 6 p.m. Saturday to allow spectators to safely cross the street following the conclusion of the race to reach their vehicles.

The 2026 Southeastern Regional Equipment Operators Safety Training Conference (also known as the regional Roadeo) is currently underway in Virginia Beach, Va. Representing District 10 in the competition are our winners from the statewide Roadeo, Josh Howard from Magoffin County, Matt Kirby from Estill County, and Mitch Tyra from the District 10 Equipment Garage. Also attending from D-10 are David P. Abner, our equipment garage supervisor, and Corbett Caudill, our chief district engineer.
