Congratulations to our friend Wayne Wolk on his appointment to Director of the NJ Division of Fire Safety! Wayne was an integral part of labor negotiations early on in the Fire District consolidation process that is set to commence this coming January during his tenure as Vice President of the NJ State FMBA.

Wayne was unanimously approved today by the New Jersey Senate Judiciary Committee following his appointment by the Governor to serve as Director of the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety.
This is a major moment for Wayne, the NJ FMBA, and the entire New Jersey fire service.
Wayne has spent years serving firefighters, representing our members, and standing up for the profession, including his time as Executive Vice President of the NJ FMBA. To now see one of our own step into this leadership role is something we are incredibly proud of.
Congratulations, Wayne. You earned this moment, and we know you will continue to serve New Jersey’s fire service with the same commitment and leadership you have shown throughout your career.
