Join members of the Jackson County Junior Leaders Club at a pizza social event before visiting this years' Fright at the Fairgrounds Haunted Barn! 🍀🎃👻
Meet at the Fairgrounds Livestock Office at 7:00 PM on October 24th for pizza and to meet other teen leaders from surrounding counties before we go through the Haunted Barn. Open to teens ages 13+. Please bring $20.00 with you for admission to the Haunted Barn.
Please RSVP by calling the Extension Office, emailing Maddie, or messaging our page so we know how much pizza to order. Bring a friend! 😁

Congratulations to Addyson Dailey, member of the Country Critters 4-H Club, who has been selected as a member of the 2026-2027 Ohio 4-H Teen Leadership Council! 🍀👏

The Ohio 4-H Teen Leadership Council (TLC) is a statewide group of 4-H teens and young 4-H alumni that provides a youth stakeholder perspective in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Ohio 4-H programming. In this process, council members develop knowledge, skills, attitudes, and aspirations needed for future success. Council members share advice and recommendations to 4-H professionals to improve, strengthen, and expand the Ohio 4-H program. Members also make recommendations regarding opportunities for Ohio 4-H teen programming. They serve as a sounding board for Ohio 4-H program direction.

To be selected as a member, teens must apply and complete an interview. Addyson will participate in planning events such as the Ohio 4-H Conference Teen Luncheon and Ohio State Fair project evaluations. We are so proud of Addyson for this huge 4-H accomplishment!

Happy ! 🍀 We are already looking forward to 4-H summer camps for 2027 and can’t wait to continue supporting youth becoming for life at camp!

Summer camp creates memories that last lifetimes, builds skills for the future, and foster friendships which strengthen communities. We hope to see your child join us at summer camp this year! 🏕️

It’s Haunted Barn time! 👻🍀🎃

Join us for the annual award winning Fright at the Fairgrounds "Haunted Barn" this year! Enjoy a fun night out with friends and family for a fun “spooky season” activity that also supports 4-H, FFA, and Junior Fair programs!

Calling all 4-H’ers! 📢🍀 The Haunted Barn is looking for all kinds of helpers each Saturday for the rest of the month. If you plan on helping scare in the haunted barn, please arrive at the fairgrounds at 7:00 PM and sign in on the sign in sheet. Wear all black clothing if you can and be prepared to stay until around 11:00 PM when the barn closes. There are also lots of other jobs, like ticket taking and popcorn making if you don’t feel like scaring!

The haunted barn is a huge fundraiser for our 4-H, FFA, and junior fair programs. Don’t forget to share it with your friends and family to encourage everyone to come! 👻
