๐Ÿ What are you carrying?

Stress.
Grief.
Trauma.
Loneliness.
Anxiety.
Pain.

Sometimes, difficult experiences can affect how we cope.

For some people, substances may become part of that coping.

What may begin as a way to manage pain, stress, or difficult emotions can become something much harder to control.

That's why substance use disorder deserves understanding โ€” not judgment.

Recognizing a problem isn't a failure.
Talking about it isn't a weakness.
Asking for help doesn't erase everything someone has been through.

Changing the conversation starts with replacing judgment with understanding.

๐Ÿ’š We make appointments when something hurts.

We take care of our physical health.

We pay attention when something doesn't feel right.

Our mental health deserves that same attention.

Mental health can affect how we think, feel, cope, connect, work, learn, and move through everyday life.

And taking care of your mental health doesn't only mean reaching out when you're in crisis.

It can mean noticing changes.
Learning healthy coping skills.
Talking about what you're experiencing.
Supporting someone you care about.
Or recognizing when additional help may be needed.

This , let's make mental health part of the conversation โ€” not something we only talk about when things become overwhelming.

๐Ÿ’š Your mental health matters.

Take a moment today to check in with yourself โ€” not just how you're doing physically, but how you're doing emotionally, too.

Jenny had always been the person her friends could count on. She showed up to work on time. She replied to texts. She made plans with friends on the weekend. So when she started saying no to invites, sleeping more than usual, and getting upset over small things, her friends started to take notice. The reason you showed up.
The person you carried with you.
The moment you wanted to give upโ€”but kept going.
The finish line you werenโ€™t sure you could reach.

Maybe you were running for someone you love. Maybe you celebrated a personal best, completed your first Adrenaline Race, or accomplished something that meant more to you than anyone else could see.

We want to hear the story behind your miles.

๐Ÿ“ธ Share your favorite race-day photo in the comments and tell us what made this yearโ€™s Adrenaline Race meaningful to you.

Your story could be the encouragement someone else needs to take their first step.

Because this race is about more than the miles. Itโ€™s about the people, the purpose, and the reasons we keep moving forward. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’™ Thank You for Having Elevate at the 2026 This Is Hope Su***de Awareness Walk

Weโ€™re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the 2026 This Is Hope Su***de Awareness Walk at South High School in Sheboygan.

Thank you to the organizers, South High School, and everyone who helped make this meaningful event possible and welcomed Elevate to be part of it. Having a resource table gave our team an important opportunity to connect with community members, share resources, answer questions, and help people learn where they can turn when they need support.

During the event, our team connected with 38 community members and shared resources including:

๐Ÿ’™ Mental health and crisis support information
๐Ÿ’™ 9 Narcan kits
๐Ÿ’™ 4 fentanyl testing strip kits
๐Ÿ’™ 4 medication lock bags
๐Ÿ’™ 6 drug disposal patches
๐Ÿ’™ Additional educational materials and giveaways

We were especially grateful to be present alongside 988, helping make mental health and crisis resources available to those attending.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, took a resource, asked a question, shared a conversation, or simply connected with our team. Every conversation and connection is an opportunity to help someone know they are not alone.

Weโ€™re grateful to be part of a community that continues to come together around su***de awareness, prevention, hope, and connection. ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you for having Elevate at the 2026 This Is Hope Su***de Awareness Walk!

๐Ÿ‚ October is a season of change.

The leaves change color.
The days get shorter.
Our routines shift.

And sometimes, we change, too.

Maybe you're feeling more overwhelmed than usual.
Maybe your mood has changed.
Maybe you're withdrawing from people you normally enjoy being around.
Maybe the way you're coping isn't working like it used to.

These changes don't always mean something is wrong, but they can be worth noticing.

This October, we're taking a closer look at the signs, patterns, and changes that can affect our mental health and well-being.

Because sometimes, noticing is the first step toward understanding.

๐Ÿ‚ Look within. Notice the change.

What is one thing your mind or body has been telling you lately?

Recovery looks different for everyone. It can mean change, growth, rebuilding relationships, finding stability, or discovering hope again.

This National Recovery Month, weโ€™re reminded that asking for support is not a weakness โ€” itโ€™s a strength. Whether youโ€™re in recovery, supporting someone you love, or simply learning more, you donโ€™t have to walk the journey alone.

During National Recovery Month, we're reminded that recovery looks different for everyone, but connection, compassion and support can make a meaningful difference.

At Elevate, we believe people deserve to be met with understanding, not judgment, and with hope, not stigma.

Share this with someone who may need the reminder: You don't have to do it alone.
