Great teaching starts with great learning! Our dedicated teachers recently engaged in a professional development session to sharpen their skills in implementing AVID WICOR strategies. By refining practices in Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading, they are building even stronger learning experiences that empower students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and achieve their full potential.

Picture Day is Friday, October 23, 2026

Please do not wear green. Jostens' green screen will let you choose a background when ordering your photos, but it will also make green clothing disappear. About a week after picture day, Jostens will send an e-mail to parents/guardians to let you know that pictures are ready to order. You can customize and order photos at jostenspix.com/shop. Orders will be shipped directly to your home.

Growing Together as Leaders at Jackson STEM Magnet Middle School!

Today Mr. Bell lead our Core Leadership Team with a kick off of a new leadership book study called Strong Core: The Inner Work That Grows Lasting Leaders by Christopher Thompson!

This book study is an opportunity for our leadership team to come together, engage in meaningful conversations, reflect on our leadership practices, and strengthen the way we lead and support our school community.

Through intentional collaboration, honest reflection, and shared learning, our team is committed to growing individually and collectively as leaders.

Our belief is simple: Strong leadership teams build strong schools!

As we continue “Reimagining What’s Possible,” we recognize that leadership development is an ongoing journey. We are excited to learn, grow, and put our learning into action to better serve our teachers, scholars, and families.

Stronger Leaders. Stronger Team. Stronger School.
