Know Before You Go

We’re looking forward to welcoming you this Saturday! Here are a few things to bring for a comfortable evening at the Fort:

Warm clothes—dress in layers for time outdoors.

A lawn chair, and a blanket if you’d like one. Bale seating will also be available.

A red flashlight, if you have one. Otherwise, we’ll have covers available for regular flashlights.

Binoculars or a telescope, if you’d like to bring your own.

You don’t need your own equipment or any astronomy experience. Our astronomy team will have telescopes available and will be happy to answer questions.

Please use red light around the telescopes to help everyone’s eyes stay adjusted to the dark. Hot cocoa and tea will be available, too.

Junior Huskies Cheer Camp- check out our cheerleading page so you can practice your cheers at home.

We hope to see everyone at our Huskies Football team on Wednesday at 7:00 PM vs. Luverne. Our cheerleaders are busy all week organizing over 70 Junior Huskies Cheerleaders who will be performing at halftime. Come on out, it looks like it is going to be a beautiful and cool evening.

A friendly reminder that Junior Huskies Cheer Camp is scheduled for next week! We are excited to have the kids practice together and perform at the Huskies football game. Parents, check your email for details on practice, transportation, and performance.

Unfortunately we did not have enough people sign up (only six, yikes!) for the bus trip to ANNIE so we had to cancel it. We are contacting those signed up individually.

We want to offer bus trips for the community but need enough interest.

Would you travel for:

• A concert or show?
• A shopping trip?
• A sporting event?
• A holiday event?
• A day trip to a specific city?
• Something completely different?

Traveling Basketball 4-5-6 registration deadline has been extended. I looks like we are missing some registrations and payments. The new deadline is next Thursday, October 8th. After that time, we will not be able to accept late registrations.

An alternative winter basketball program is coming for our 2nd and 3rd graders. Stay tuned!

She's BAAACK! We are excited to have Instructor Luz back in the gym this fall. Zumba classes are a open to all skills and abilities - no prior dance experience needed. If you have never tried Zumba before, now is the time! Just show up for a good time.
