Union FFA has completed another successful year. Union FFA had the pleasure of walking across stage at the 2026 MS FFA convention 6 times. Will Chaney and Denver McCoy received their state degrees. Will Chaney and Jon Perry 1st place in the Ag Mech Showcase. William Breedlove and Hayden Ferguson 1st place in Tractor operation and Maintenance. Ben Leach, Hayden Ferguson and William Breedlove 1st place in Ag Sales and will compete on the national level in October. William Breedlove 1st place in the Forage Production Proficiency area. And Our own Denver McCoy had the opportunity to serve on nominating committee to select the 2026/2027 MS FFA State Officers.

These Health Science 2 students wrapped up their CNA clinicals this week at J.G. Alexander Nursing Center, and what an incredible experience it was!

These students stepped into real patient care, built confidence, and gained hands-on skills that simply can’t be taught in a classroom alone. Opportunities like this are what make our program so special.

We are so proud of the hard work, compassion, and professionalism they showed throughout the experience. These students are on track to graduate high school with their CNA license already in hand, giving them a huge head start in the healthcare field.

A big THANK YOU to J.G. Alexander Nursing Center for partnering with us and investing in our students. Your support makes a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for the opportunity you provide!

Congratulations to William Breedlove and Hayden Ferguson on their first place finish in the state FFA tractor operation and maintenance contest. These two young men have put in countless hours this year preparing for this competition and their hard work paid off.
