I had a wonderful time engaging students and administrators at The Jacksonville Job Corps today! We brought the Air & Rescue Trailer that give students an actual, close-to-reality air rescue mission while sitting in an interactive chair wearing Oculus headsets. It’s truly a dynamic virtual reality experience that highlights our aviation and aerial defense community, and the vast number of jobs available within those job series. Thank you to the Jacksonville Job Corps for having us!

You may have heard at other news outlets, but you can hear it now directly from me: the U.S. Army is offering enlistment bonuses that when combined could add up to $50K.
These bonuses are based on your specific career field, length of enlistment, when you ship to training, and if you commit to airborne ($10K) or Ranger ($20K) training. Other bonus options include the Quick Ship bonus (up to $9K), the Critical Specialty Bonus (up to $9K), and bonuses for folks with critical language proficiencies (up to $40K).
We are also offering station of choice after training for nine duty stations (including Fort Carson and Fort Campbell), and we have brought back the 2+2 option...two years Active, two years Reserve.
