For years, we’ve witnessed the impact of Girls on the Run firsthand. Now, we have the research to show just how far that impact reaches. We’re proud to share Lasting Impact: The Girls on the Run Alums Study, a landmark third-party research effort that highlights the long-term benefits of our program.

Alums report continuing to use Girls on the Run strategies in middle school to manage emotions, navigate friendships, build confidence, and face new challenges. These findings affirm the power of our intentional curriculum and dedicated coaches, showing that the skills girls gain stay with them for years to come.

The GOTR Celebration 5Ks will be here before we know it! We are looking for more volunteers to help us meet our goal and make this year’s 5Ks our best yet. After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Lip Sync Battle: Totally ’80s.

While we were excited to bring this fun and meaningful evening to life, we must remain responsible stewards of our resources and cannot move forward with the event without incurring a financial loss.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported this event, especially our performers, our emcees Eden Kendall and Rance Adams, and our generous sponsors and community partners, including Culhane’s Irish Pub, Mai Oui Catering, Flame Broiler, and many others who stepped forward in support.
