💚🦩 WOW, FLAMINGO FAMILIES... YOU DID IT! 🦩💚

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible generosity shown during our Toiletries Drive benefiting Hubbard House.

Because of the kindness of our students, families, staff, and community, we collected an AMAZING amount of toiletries and personal care items to help local families in need. From toothbrushes and toothpaste to shampoo, soap, paper products, and more, every donation will make a meaningful difference.

The team at Hubbard House was truly overwhelmed with gratitude when they saw the outpouring of support from our Sabal Palm community. Your donations will help provide comfort, dignity, and hope to individuals and families during difficult times.

A special thank you to our Anchored for Life Team and Wellness Committee for organizing this wonderful service project and helping our students learn the importance of compassion, generosity, and community service.

Together, we showed what it means to be All In, All Year! ❤️

As we close the chapter on another incredible school year, we want to take a moment to say thank you. It has been a year filled with learning, growth, laughter, challenges overcome, unforgettable memories, and so many moments that reminded us what it means to be part of the Sabal Palm family.

To our students — we are so proud of each and every one of you. You worked hard, showed resilience, made friendships, discovered new passions, and accomplished so much this year. Whether you are moving on to a new grade level or beginning a new journey, know that you have left your mark on our school and that we believe in all you can achieve.

To our families — thank you for being All In, All Year with us. Your involvement, support, and commitment help make Sabal Palm such a special place for our students to learn and grow. We truly could not do it without you.

As we say goodbye to this year and prepare for the upcoming school year, I want to share that Assistant Principal Asia O’Neal will be transitioning to serve as an Assistant Principal at another school beginning July 1. Her final day at Sabal Palm Elementary will be June 30.

While we are incredibly excited for this next step in her leadership journey, it is impossible to fully express how much Ms. O’Neal has meant to Team Sabal over the years.

Ms. O’Neal has been a steady and passionate leader for our students, staff, and families. Throughout her time at Sabal Palm, she has played a critical role in strengthening our school culture, supporting student achievement, and helping move our school forward through both challenges and celebrations. From leading schoolwide testing and instructional systems, to supporting MTSS and PBIS processes, to building strong relationships with students and families, her impact can be seen in every corner of our campus.

She has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to support teachers, organize school events like our quarterly PBIS Flamingo Festivals, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure students felt safe, supported, and celebrated. Whether she was greeting students in the morning, helping classrooms problem solve, supporting behavior interventions, coordinating schoolwide initiatives, attending evening events, or stepping in wherever needed, Ms. O’Neal consistently led with heart, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to children.

Her leadership has helped shape the positive culture we are so proud of here at Sabal Palm. She has been a champion for our students, an advocate for our staff, and a true team player who always put the needs of the school community first.

On behalf of the entire Sabal Palm family, we want to thank Ms. O’Neal for the years she has poured into our school and the countless ways she has helped our flamingos grow and succeed. While she will be greatly missed, we are incredibly proud of her and know she will continue to make a tremendous impact at her new school.
