On the Florida fire front, here's an aerial view of the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue logistics facility where an explosion and fire on Monday morning killed a civilian employee and injured four others, including a sheriff's office lieutenant.

The facility is located at 6100 SW 87th Avenue. [ And the blast occurred at a county fueling station, directly beside the fire department facility. ] The explosion was captured on surveillance video, which has been shared by news outlets.

From WSVN, arriving units found active fire near the the fuel pump canopy. They found one person deceased on scene and four injured people.

Two adults were transported to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital as trauma alerts. Another adult was transported to a local hospital. The fourth patient was assessed but did not require transport.

Still collecting incident details. The run card included 40 units from MDFR.

TRAFFIC ALERT | A Wednesday afternoon crash in Nassau County has closed all northbound lanes on Interstate 95 at State Road 200.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Florida Forest Service are responding to a grass fire near Northwest 137th Avenue and Northwest 25th Street. Smoke may be visible in the area as a result of the fire. Those with respiratory conditions are advised to stay indoors and recirculate the air in their homes and vehicles using air conditioning.

Truck crashes into Jacksonville woman’s home while she was out with family A Jacksonville woman returned home Saturday to find a truck had crashed through the side of her house while she and her children were away, causing significant structural damage that stretched from the exterior wall all the way into the kitchen.

St. Johns County Fire Rescue crews responded to multiple brush fires Saturday, many of which they believed were ignited by lightning strikes, officials said.
