Duval Democrats,

Have you:

- checked your voter status lately? Are you still an active voter?

- reenrolled in Vote-By-Mail?

- moved, changed marital status or had a name change?

- gotten a new driver's license number?

To be sure you're eligible to vote in upcoming elections, check out all of the above with the Duval Supervisor of Elections Office at 904-255-VOTE.

Don't let a technicality keep you from voting. Check your status right away. Be vote-ready!

The Republican Governor and his Republican-controlled Stste Legislature deliberatly passed the law to dilute the political power of Black and Brown voters, especially in US and State Legislative Districts. BUT REMEMBER, WE STILL HAVE VOTING POWER! Don't forget that ALL VOTERS can vote in the US Senate races, and the top State Constitutional officer races - in Florida they're Governor, Attorney General, Commissioner of Agriculture, and the Comptroller... all powerful positions. So we still have significant voting power... but we must use it! So, if you aren't registered, register to vote. If you are registered, make sure you vote in every election and VOTE THE REPUBLICANS OUT!
Additionally, to win some of the gerrymandered Districts, we must build powerful coalitions with other Democrats, disappointed NPAs and disillusioned Republicans. If we succeed in building coaltions, we'll be unstoppable!

🚨🍊 Update on redistricting fight in Florida 🚨🍊

Governor DeSantis signed new maps into law on the heels of the Supreme Court's devastating blow to the Voting Rights Act.

Latino and Black voters in Tampa, Orlando, and Miami will be scattered across multiple Republican-leaning districts to ensure their votes are drowned out.

Floridians deserve maps that reflect their communities, not maps drawn in back rooms to further stack the midterms in favor of Republicans.

“What Republicans are doing nationwide through partisan gerrymandering on the backs of communities of color is not only dangerous, but it's a pattern to exclude America's multiracial democracy from representation in our government. By doing so, they're trying to relegate voters of color to second-class citizenship.

- Voto Latino Executive Director Beatriz Lopez
