The fight inside the halls of Congress changes literally every five minutes.

But one thing is for sure . . .

Tomorrow, the United States Senate will vote on the motion to proceed to President Obama’s gun control legislation.

If Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is able to break Senator Rand Paul’s filibuster, all bets are off.

Senators Pat Toomey (R-PA) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) struck a last-minute “deal,” which hands the gun-grabbers virtually everything they’ve been calling for since this fight began in the wake of the Newtown tragedy.

But this is no surprise when you consider news I heard from one inside source at the Capitol.

Senator Chuck Schumer actually drafted the legislation behind the scenes!

That’s why it’s absolutely vital you call your Senators IMMEDIATELY.

Please urge them to “Stand With Rand” and oppose the motion to proceed to any bill that’s designed to serve as a vehicle to RAM President Obama’s gun control scheme into law.

Of course, yesterday and again this morning, you and I got a good idea where this fight is headed.

President Obama and Senator Reid must be literally beside themselves with glee.

Toomey and Manchin's new scheme is FAR WORSE than even the Feinstein Assault Weapons ban . . .

Provisions of the legislation FORCE new “background checks” (GUN REGISTRATION) on virtually all fi****ms transfers -- while supposedly exempting transfers between family members and some others.

Of course, the bill includes a laughable provision saying the information can’t be used to create a registry gun-grabbers can point to in order to try and fool gun owners -- but it’s full of holes.

The only way to enforce this new law is if a gun registry is being built.

Not only that, but even as I write you, the ATF is busy compiling a massive database on American gun owners.

Of course, the bill is much, much worse.

There are so many more problems with this legislation.

But now that President Obama and Majority Leader Harry Reid believe they have their token “pro-gun” Republican to go with their anti-gun Senate ringleader Joe Manchin.

So nothing will stop their “bipartisan” gun control scheme.

Folks, the truth is Senator Toomey is anything but pro-gun. Instead, he’s proven to be nothing less than a traitor to our Second Amendment.

The only good news is, you and I can ensure this scheme never sees the light of day if you and I can just convince 41 Senators to filibuster Harry Reid’s motion to proceed to a floor debate on gun control.

This is our best shot at victory.

Sadly, the NRA continues to keep silent at this most important time.

My hope is they’ll spring into action.

But regardless, you and must stand up and FIGHT.
