Their pain run's deep with feeling of humiliation, hopelessness, and alone. So they wanted to die. They tried to die, and when they a waked and their life was not over, they struggled to believe that there was a reason to go on. They were once someone's child, now they're an adult as your mother, your father, sister, brother, husband, wife, teacher, nurse, Friend etc. Their life seemed normal just
like ours, and then the illness began. They struggle to be heard, yet they want no one to know. They have talent and gifts, wisdom and knowledge just like we have. They want to share, to live, to love. They are a human being not their illness. One moment at a time, one day at a time the darkness that was their life began to fade, They struggle, they fall, no-one they thought, seem even to care. Someone said to them "Try to have faith and hope”. So they are trying to find hope, give them hope to believe again in themselves and our beautiful country, the United States of America. Heavenly Host of Guardian Angels Inc is trying to restore that hope but we can't do it alone we need your help. Heavenly Host of Guardian Angels mission is to provide educational, vocational, and social services in Jacksonville, Florida for adults suffering from persistent and disabling mental illness, homeless, and incarceration. Heavenly Host of Guardian Angles Organization was founded May 19, 2009 by Deborah Warren. Heavenly Host of Guardian Angels is requesting support for facility renovation and expansion. This will increase social service program space, and a class room to accommodate veterans for vocational training and job readiness. Heavenly Host of Guardian Angels Inc is in need of building materials, and volunteers of the community. The program’s expansion will create a five bedroom unit structure incorporating comprehensive training programs and transitional housing. Heavenly Host of Guardian Angels Inc envisions a spacious and comfortable facility where members receive services in a dignified setting, where the volume of participants does not feel overwhelming and where the broad selection of activities stimulates personal growth. The expanded classroom space will allow participants at different levels of functioning to choose appropriate structured educational programs, creativity workshops, support groups, and recreational activities. Heavenly Host of Guardian Angels Inc will provide transitional housing for 8 homeless mentally ill veteran’s adults. Heavenly Host of Guardian Angels Nehemiah project will further our ability to help participants escape the cycle between homelessness and recidivism through a combination of accessible housing and intensive support programs. With the generous support of organizations like yours, we will be able to help housed as many of these veterans for 6-24 months. Not only to meet essential daily needs, but to work toward a brighter future with programs in vocational training, education, job readiness, job placement, continuous case management, mentor-ship, progress evaluations, follow-up services, transportation, and counseling support group. Our main objective is focus on permanent housing placement.
