What an unforgettable afternoon celebrating 22 years of growth, sisterhood, and empowerment at our Journey Into Womanhood Celebration ✨

This year’s theme, β€œShe Believed She Could So She Did,” came to life as we honored the accomplishments, resilience, and bright futures of our JIW girls. From inspiring words by keynote speaker Brenda Jackson and dynamic emcee Michelleta Taylor, to scholarship presentations, club showcases, and reflections from JIW alumnae β€” the day was filled with encouragement, wisdom, and celebration. πŸ’œ

Congratulations to Nadia Darity, recipient of the Flowers EmpowerHer Scholar Award, and to Akila Ponds and Nia Johnson, recipients of the Pearl of Wisdom Award!

A special thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration beautiful and memorable, including the lovely floral arrangements provided by 🌸 and photos captured by Arden K. πŸ“Έ

Thank you to our families, sponsors, volunteers, mentors, presenters, and community supporters who continue to invest in the next generation of young women. Because of your support, Journey Into Womanhood continues to make a lasting impact in our community.
