🎉Today is the LAST DAY to purchase a PTA membership to help your student's class earn a PARTY! Help us finish this drive with the strongest Waterleaf PTA voice yet!💚🐺

10/02/2026

🎉 THIS is what PTA membership looks like in action. 💙💚

Waterleaf Elementary PTA has officially surpassed our entire 2025–2026 membership total making us one of just 28 local PTAs and PTSAs in Duval County to already reach this milestone!

And while we LOVE celebrating that number, this is about so much more than membership totals.

Every member gives our PTA a stronger voice.

A stronger voice to advocate for our students.
A stronger voice to support our teachers and staff.
A stronger voice for our families and our school.
And a stronger voice at the local, state, and national level.

That is the heart of PTA: advocacy. Membership doesn’t mean you have to volunteer or attend every event. It means you’re adding your voice to a community committed to making things better for ALL kids.

And we aren’t finished yet! Our Membership Drive ends TOMORROW, October 2!

If you haven’t joined yet, there is still time. Help us finish this drive with the strongest Waterleaf PTA voice yet.

🎉 Big membership milestones for our local PTAs and PTSAs!
Congratulations to the 28 local units that have already surpassed their 2025–2026 membership totals! Your dedication to growing your membership deserves to be celebrated. 👏
We’re also cheering on 12 local units that are within 10 members of surpassing their 2025–2026 totals! You’re almost there—keep inviting, connecting, and sharing the value of PTA! 💙
Behind every membership is someone supporting students, families, and schools. Thank you to the leaders, volunteers, and members who make this work possible.
Let’s keep the momentum going! Join or renew your school’s PTA or PTSA membership, invite a friend, and help your local unit reach its next milestone. You don’t have to be a parent to be a member—our whole community has a place in PTA.

🏈CLASS, CLASS🏈

Mrs. Gatehouse’s 5th grade class is officially taking on NFeLementary this year and they chose their hometown Jacksonville Jaguars to take them through the season!

Created by educator Mary Crippen, NFeLementary takes something kids already love football and turns it into real-world learning. Throughout the NFL season, students use their team to explore math and statistics, geography, reading and writing, research, critical thinking, teamwork and more.

They aren’t just watching the season. They’re analyzing it, writing about it, researching it, making connections and learning through it.

And we LOVE seeing learning come to life like this at Waterleaf. 💙💚

So , consider this your official introduction to Mrs. Gatehouse’s 5th grade class at Waterleaf Elementary.

They picked you. They’re studying you. And you better believe they’re cheering for you.

DUUUVAL! 🐆🏈
