HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day is held annually on June 5th, the anniversary of the first published report of what came to be known as AIDS. It's a call to action to prioritize and improve the Quality of Life for long-term survivors and Older Adults with HIV.

With the success of treatment that has slowed the death rate and turned HIV into “chronic manageable illness," it is no longer enough to survive but it is a call to action to thrive. It's about long-term survivors being visible, standing firmly in their remarkable survival, and honoring their resiliency. ❤️

Hot meals: $500 feeds 50 teens and young adults for a week

Throughout the month of June, we’re shining a light on the Food & Hygiene Pantry we maintain in support of LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults experiencing homelessness in Northeast Florida. 🏠💜 The need is urgent -- items fly off our shelves as young people rely on JASMYN for food, hygiene supplies, and other daily essentials.

Right now, LGBTQIA+ youth are facing increasing uncertainty, with harmful legislation creating fear and the potential for fewer resources. As policies shift, we want to ensure our pantry is fully stocked so we’re prepared for anything. Your donations help us provide security and stability for the young people who need it most.

May 24 is Pansexuality and Panromantic Visibility Day. 💗💛💙

Today we bring recognition to those who identify as pansexual and panromantic. Pansexuality is the sexual attraction to people regardless of gender, while being panromantic is having the ability to feel romantic attraction regardless of gender. Pan individuals are attracted by the person before anything else such as gender identity. This doesn't mean that they're attracted to everyone, but rather that they have the capacity to feel attraction for anyone, without gender being a factor at all.
