Life Flight is the rotor wing air medical transport service of Baptist Medical Center, Wolfson Children’s Hospital, St. Vincent's Medical Center, Orange Park Medical Center, as well as many Fire and EMS agencies here on the First Coast. LifeFlight 2 was honored to be a part of the Charlton County Junior Sheriff's Academy! 🚁
We want to extend a huge thank you to the Charlton County Sheriff's Office for inviting us out and Charlton County EMS for setting up the LZ. Thank you to both of them for giving us the opportunity to spend time with such an outstanding group of young people. The students came prepared with great questions, showed genuine curiosity about emergency services, and were eager to learn about the role aviation medicine plays in serving our communities.
Investing in the next generation is always time well spent, and after meeting these future leaders, first responders, and community members, it's clear that the future is bright in Charlton County.
Thank you again for having us—we had a great time and look forward to seeing what these young men and women accomplish in the years ahead!

Today, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the profound responsibility we carry in our own mission. To the fallen heroes and their families, we are forever grateful.
Earlier today, LifeFlight 2 was pleased to assist with the transport of a critically injured trauma patient from Glynn County to UF Health Jacksonville, the closest appropriate trauma center.
A strong trauma response starts long before the aircraft arrives. The ground crews on scene provided immediate, high-quality care and had the patient prepared for our flight team, allowing us to continue critical interventions and provide rapid transport without delay.
We are grateful for the teamwork, communication, and dedication of our EMS partners who help make these missions possible. When every minute matters, collaboration saves lives.
