Bartram Canoe Trail

The Bartram Canoe Trail is back open..

The Bartram Canoe Trail Park is gone. The Grand Bartram Centennial Cypress Tree on Durbin Creek is DEAD. It was in the way of you getting back and forth to the developers stores so you can make them richer. When will this type of destruction not be ok?

Ladies and Gentlemen this once beautiful park and launch area is now closed due to bridge construction on Race Track Road. The only current place to launch a boat to enjoy The Bartram Canoe Trail on Durbin Creek is the boat ramp next to Clarks Fish Camp then a long 5 to 6 mile paddle! A new launch and parking area are planned for the future...

This will have to work for now . We need some help here with some larger gear. At least you can park in the road and get to the launch. If you have never paddled Durbin Creek during flood stage you're missing out!!

Tropical Storm Colin dropped a 40 inch Oak Tree across the entrance road to the park! We'll take care of it this weekend...
After the tree is cut, you should quickly paddle Durbin Creek while it's in Flood Stage!!

Put a new picnic table at the Bartram Canoe Trail today ! Thank you Jeffrey Nelson for building it ..
