We had a great time at Coffee With a Cop at McDonald's with the kids from Kitty Stone Elementary, fellow community members and our friends from the Jacksonville State University Police Department this morning.

Events like this help us build positive relationships and give us the chance to meet people during the good times, and build foundations of trust for when we have to navigate the tough times.

It's also a lot of fun to induct some new junior police officers to JPD! Check out some get-together photos below:

Coffee With a Cop is coming up Wednesday, Oct. 7 at McDonald's from 8-10 a.m.!

Coffee With a Cop is a way to break down barriers between police officers and the communities they serve by allowing face-to-face discussions. You'll get to meet officers from our department, as well as the University Police Department. Participating is a great way to not only learn the answers to questions or voice concerns, but to get to know the people in uniform who serve our city and university.

We hope to see you there!
