From shopping carts to family tables ❤️
These photos tell the story of our mobile pantry — purchasing food, preparing for distribution, and seeing it become a homemade meal prepared by one of our Afghan families.
Food does more than nourish. It brings comfort, preserves culture, and creates connection. ❤️

Community is stronger when we come together. ❤️
LSS was grateful to be part of the grand opening of the new Winn Dixie on University Blvd. (formerly Harvey’s) and thankful to be selected as the recipient of a $1,000 donation to support our neighbors in need.
We also loved seeing their new community room — a space created to bring people together for connection, gatherings, and meaningful moments. Thank you for investing in community and care. ❤️

At Lutheran Social Services, we believe every person in our community deserves the peace of mind that comes from knowing where their next meal will come from. Every day, families arrive at our food pantry searching for one thing: Hope.
