Another Promotion in the books!

Yesterday AGC McGee promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer! After a long and intense Chief season, AGC finally got to wear his Anchors with pride. Now he begins the next step of his Navy career and is ready to lead and train the junior sailors. NAVY CHIEF, NAVY PRIDE!

Its promotion season at HSMWSL!

Yesterday, AWR1 Tyler Hill was promoted under the Combat Meritorious Advancement Program for his hard work and personal efforts this past summer while deployed with HSM-72. His dedication and skill made him a clear choice for advancement to First Class Petty Officer. Congratulations AWR1 Hill!

And today, our very own Senior Enlisted Advisor at HSMWSL, AWRCM Shawn Cossins, was advanced to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer! Over his career, AWRCM Cossins played a vital role in training the future warfighters of the HSM community as well as mentored the junior sailors in their own Naval careers. His promotion to Master Chief was both well earned and long overdue. Congratulations AWRCM Cossins!
