Jacksonville Teacher Residency (JTR) is a teacher preparation program for people with degrees in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field who want to become math or science teachers in Jacksonville's high-needs, urban middle and high schools. At the University of North Florida's Silverfield College of Education and Human Services, we are proud to support AmeriCorps service and the incredible impact of our Jacksonville Teacher Residency (JTR) AmeriCorps members.
