Congratulations to HSM-60’s newest First Class Petty Officers and Second Class Petty Officers!! Your hard work and dedication has paid off. We wish you luck on your new roles of authority and responsibility! Keep up the good work Jaguars!!!

⚓ Warrior Wednesday 🛠️

Meet Chief Aviation Structural Mechanic (AW) Jason Fisher, a Navy Reserve Sailor serving with HSM-60 “Jaguars” at NAS Jacksonville.

Chief Fisher began his Navy aviation career as an airframer with HSL-44 (now HSM-74) “Swamp Foxes” in Mayport, Florida. Over his 15 years on active duty, he deployed aboard USS Eisenhower and USS Enterprise, contributing to Global War on Terror operations, including Enduring Freedom and Inherent Resolve. His other tours included FRC Southeast, VFA-101 “Grim Reapers,” and HSM-40 “Airwolves.”

By continuing his service in the Navy Reserve, Fisher is able to remain Navy while balancing family priorities and professional demands, keeping proven technical skill and operational experience inside the force. Now in his fourth year with HSM-60, he is mobilized with the Jaguars, supporting aviation readiness where it counts.

In his civilian career, Fisher works as an aircraft mechanic, performing depot-level maintenance on T-6 trainer aircraft and F-5 adversary aircraft. His in-demand expertise returns to the Navy every time he wears the uniform, strengthening Reserve aviation with current skills and seasoned leadership.

Bravo Zulu, AMC Fisher. Your continued service keeps critical experience in the fight and the Navy ready.

⚓️ The anchors aren’t given, they’re earned. ⚓️

Today, our Chief Selects have officially joined the Mess. They’ve been tested, tried, and accepted. You have faced each challenge and adversity with dignity and good grace, forging you into leaders who will carry on the proud traditions of the United States Navy Chief Petty Officer.

From this day forward, you are a fountain of wisdom for your Sailors and an ambassador of good will for the Navy. The anchors you wear are more than a symbol—they’re a promise to lead, guide, and take care of those who follow.

“Ask the Chief” is a household phrase in and out of the Navy. You are now the Chief. ⚓️🧱🇺🇸

Congratulations to ATC Steacy, AMC White and AMC Parker.
