Woodland Acres Elementary was founded in 1956 and has maintained a proud tradition of educating the children in the Arlington community of Jacksonville. As the demographics of the community we serve has changed, so too has the school and the programs we offer. Currently, Woodland Acres serves a diverse student population of approximately seven hundred students.
