When 10-year-old TJ visited us with his mother, Shari Jones, Family Promise director of programs, he thought our cute play kitchen need to restocked with groceries. Our kitchen is for children whose families are visiting us for rental assistance. It gives them a place to ignite their imagination. When they got home, TJ asked his mom to send us play food. Staff has already enjoyed a delicious “meal” prepared by a young visitor. Thank you, TJ!

The Episcopal School Family Promise Club focused on dignity and hope with their supply drive. Shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and more are not covered by SNAP. We all agree they are essential for dignity and hope. Thank you Episcopal High’Eagles for your gift!

Congratulations to Stanton Class of 2026! The leaders of our first high school club, started when they were freshmen, graduated today. They have passed the torch to new leaders. We wish them well in their college endeavors and know they will be an asset to the community!

The families reaching out to us are hard working and want a bright future for their children. 40% of Duval County residents live paycheck to paycheck, spending all of their income to meet living expenses. We want to be the bridge from crisis to stability.

A heartfelt thank to Beyond Bedtime, for coordinating this special pajama donation with Carter's providing pajamas and Deutsche Bank volunteers adding handwritten notes to make every gift more meaningful.

Bethany Ministries shows their love for the community in many ways. We are thankful that they share with us. The bounty of their supply drives. By providing items not covered by snap, they help our families to stretch their dollars. Laundry detergent, toothbrushes, even children’s underwear is all part of our love language!

We’re rolling, rolling thanks to HD Supply which assembled (!) and donated five bikes with helmets. Thanks to them, our parents and teens will be Team Wheelie and Homer’s Hot Wheels.
