📢Parents, I would like to remind you there is a dress code for our school even with hot weather. If a student is wearing any of the following you will receive a phone call to bring a change of clothes or proper foot wear.

We are looking for parents to join our PTA for the next school year. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your voice and help make a huge difference for our students.
We are currently looking for parents to fill our executive board, including the President, Treasurer, and Recording Secretary and supporting roles Assistant Secretary and Vice President.
Please take a look at the attached election letter for more details. We would love to have you on the team! Even if you are not interested in running for a position, please join us for the PTA elections tomorrow, at 5:00pm in the auditorium (or on Zoom)!

This week, MBSK students began filming their student-created PSA focused on the impact of I.C.E. on students’ mental health, with the goal of raising awareness and reminding affected students that they are not alone. Shout out to How Can I? For helping our students implement this PSA! .b.s.k_29

🇺🇸📜7th Grade Annual Philly trip! 🇺🇸🦅
Our students had an unforgettable day exploring the historic city of Philadelphia! They visited the National Constitution Center, took part in a walking tour of Independence Hall, and visited the grave of Benjamin Franklin.

Thank you to all the families that supported science by having your child create a project and engage in an investigation! We are so proud of all of our scientists! We will have presentations of their projects in the coming weeks.
The district is excited to invite you to the upcoming District 29Q STEM Fair on Thursday, May 14, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m!
The event will take place at MS 356Q Community Voices Middle School, located on the IS 231Q Campus at 145-00 Springfield Blvd, Queens, NY 11413.
Join us for an evening celebrating innovation, creativity, and the outstanding achievements of our student scientists.
