🔥🚒 BURN PERMIT SEASON IS HERE! 🚒🔥
The Fentress County Fire Department would like to remind everyone that from October 15th through March 15th, burn permits are required for outdoor debris burning in areas where Tennessee’s state burn permit requirements apply.
🍂 As the leaves begin to fall and outdoor cleanup gets underway, we encourage everyone to take the necessary precautions before lighting a fire.
✅ Before You Burn:
* 🔥 Obtain your FREE burn permit.
* 🍂 Check weather conditions and local burning restrictions.
* 💧 Keep water and firefighting tools nearby.
* 👀 Never leave a fire unattended.
* 🚫 Avoid burning on windy or extremely dry days.
* 📞 Always make sure your fire is completely extinguished before leaving.

⚠️ Remember: Having a burn permit does not mean conditions are always safe for burning. Permits may be restricted or suspended due to increased wildfire danger.
