Jarratt Volunteer Fire Department

The Jarratt Fire Department is deeply heartbroken by the loss of Sergeant Bonner. As first responders, we have the privilege of working alongside our law enforcement brothers and sisters, and this loss hits incredibly close to home.

Sergeant Bonner was an outgoing individual who truly cared about serving his community. His dedication, his presence, and the impact he made will not be forgotten. He was more than a fellow first responder; he was someone we were honored to work alongside in serving and protecting the community we all care so deeply about.

Our hearts are broken, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, fellow officers, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Sergeant Bonner. Thank you for your service and for the difference you made in our community. You will be deeply missed, never forgotten, and always remembered as one of our own.

Rest easy, Sergeant. We’ll take it from here. #72

After years of dedication, leadership, and service, we want to recognize Lt. Jon Williamson as he begins a new chapter.

From starting with us as a cadet to serving as Lieutenant, Jon has been a valued part of our department family. His commitment, hard work, and willingness to serve have left a lasting impact on our department and community.

While we are sad to see him go, we are incredibly grateful for the years we’ve had alongside him and proud of all he has accomplished. Thank you, Jon, for your service, leadership, and everything you’ve given to this department.

Once family, always family. Wishing you nothing but success in what comes next!
