💊 NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK DAY 💊

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office encourages everyone to take a few minutes to clean out their medicine cabinets and safely dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired prescription medications.
Did you know that MCSO has a prescription drug drop-off bin available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year in the front office of the Sheriff’s Office?
You don’t have to wait for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day! Our drop-off bin is available year-round for your convenience.
Proper disposal helps prevent accidental poisonings, prescription drug misuse, and medications falling into the wrong hands.

MCSO CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS

The Christmas season is fast approaching, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office is excited to once again help make Christmas special for children in need through our Christmas for Kids Program!
If you would like to apply for a child in need or donate to the program, we would love your support!
Applications available at MCSO administrative office
5 Oak Ave, Jasper,TN inside the Justice Center
🎁 Toy Donations: We are accepting new, unwrapped toys at the following participating donation locations:
📍 LaLa’s Bazaar in Crossroads
📍 Cash Express
📍 Dollar General on Highway 41
📍 Marion County Sheriff’s Office
🚔 We will also be holding roadblocks around the Thanksgiving holiday to help support this special program.
We could not make this program possible without the generosity and support of our Marion County citizens. Your kindness helps bring smiles, joy, and Christmas memories to children and families throughout our community.

October is anti-bullying awareness month…get involved with us! Bullying is never “just kids being kids.” Words and actions can leave lasting scars, and bullying is associated with increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors among youth.
Parents, be involved. Talk with your children, know what they are experiencing, and most importantly, set the example by showing kindness, respect and compassion. Together, we can help make our schools and communities safer for every child.

Today, we remember James Uselton, who passed away in 2016.
Mr. Uselton dedicated 40 years of service to the citizens of Marion County as a member of law enforcement. Throughout his distinguished career, he served with the South Pittsburg Police Department, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and as Chief of the Whitwell Police Department.
His commitment to protecting and serving the people of our community left a lasting impact on Marion County and the many lives he touched along the way.
Sir, we thank you for your many years of dedicated service to our community and its citizens. Your service and legacy will never be forgotten.
