Regular septic tank maintenance every 3–5 years can help prevent expensive repairs and protect local water quality.

Thanks to the Lower East Fork White River Watershed 319 Grant, eligible residents in the watershed area may qualify for discounted septic tank pump outs through a reimbursement program!

Let’s make this Halloween a little cleaner for our community and waterways! 🌊🧤

Join the Daviess, Dubois, Martin & Pike County Soil & Water Conservation Districts for a Halloween Costume Trash Pick-Up Day!

🎃 Come in costume! Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Bring your friends and family, grab some gloves, and help us keep litter out of our rivers!

📸 We’ll take a group photo and a photo of our cleanup haul.

CAN’T MAKE IT? JOIN OUR SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE! 🏆

Pick up trash near your home, along a roadway, or near a creek. Put on your Halloween costume, take a photo of your cleanup haul, post it on social media, and tag your participating SWCD.

🏆 Photos will be judged for the best costume + trash-pickup photo, with a Halloween Treat Bundle going to the winner!

📅 Photo submission deadline: November 3
