This coming 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟵𝘁𝗵 at 6:00PM, the Pickens High School - Jasper, Georgia students and athletes will kick off Homecoming week with their annual Homecoming Parade through the streets of Downtown Jasper GA! Get your green and be prepared to cheer them on as they get ready for the big game on Friday against North Hall!
𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩:
🚧Parade participants will line up along Stegall Drive between Mary Street and Richards Street starting at 4:30PM - one lane will remain open for the residents and businesses along Stegall to be able to get in and out.
**Parade participants should enter Stegall Drive at the Mary Street end (against the one way traffic)**
🚧N Main Street between Depot and the 3-way stop at Mark Whitfield Street will close at 5:15PM - please have all vehicles off of Main Street in this area by 5:15PM.
**Mark Whitfield will remain OPEN**
🚧N Main Street from the 3-way stop and Sanders Street will close at 5:45PM - Mark Whitfield Street will close at this point as well starting at just north of W Church Street to the 3-way stop.
Participants will make their way up Stegall Drive through the Alley and then will turn LEFT onto N Main Street starting at 6PM. They'll head towards Sanders Street where the parade ends and then will make their way back to Lee Newton Park for the carnival and evening of fun. During the parade, Mary Street will be the detour from N Main Street to W Church Street and appropriate signage will be placed.
