A few of our Dignity Drawers have been freshly restocked and are ready to serve our community!
Every restock is a reminder of what we can accomplish when we show up for one another. Thank you to everyone who donates, volunteers, and helps us keep these drawers stocked and accessible to those who need them. We couldn’t do this without you! 🩸💜

Want to help us keep them full? Check out our Amazon wishlist!

DIGNITY DRAWERS NEED WIPES!

You all showed up for us when we put out the call for menstrual cups, and we’re hoping you can help us out again!
We’re running low on wipes, and they’re something we really want to be able to keep stocked in our Dignity Drawers. These little essentials make a difference, and we want to make sure they’re available to anyone who needs them! If you’re able to help, you can purchase wipes directly from our Amazon wishlist. I’ll link it in the comments!
We know how incredible this community is because you’ve shown us time and time again. Every donation, big or small, helps us keep these drawers stocked and accessible to our community. Let’s show up for each other once again! Thank you for being part of this and helping us make dignity accessible to everyone. 💜

If you didn’t already know, the DeSoto Public Library offers free hygiene bags! 💜 We absolutely love seeing resources like this available in our community, and it’s another great option for anyone in the area who needs them. There are also several libraries throughout Jefferson County that partner with the St. Louis Diaper Bank to provide free menstrual products!
We love seeing our community come together to make these essentials more accessible to everyone. 💜

Did you know that we offer hygiene bags here at the library?

We are able to offer these hygiene bags thanks to the Jefferson Foundation Grant, which provided the library with funds that we can allocate to use for community service projects such as this!

If you or someone you know needs a little bit of assistance, don't be afraid to stop by the library. We're happy to help as best as we can.

This thank you is long overdue, but we are so incredibly grateful to Adriel Cross Heidland and their amazing team for once again spending part of their break time supporting Dignity Drawers! This is the second time they’ve come together to donate products and pack bags, and we truly appreciate them. 💜

They packed two big boxes of supplies to help provide essential products to those who need them. Thank you, Adriel and team, for continuing to support our mission!

We’re so excited to celebrate our 10th Dignity Drawer, and our 9th right here in Jefferson County! 💜

A huge thank-you to H.W. Herrell Distributing Company and Carol Herrell-Schanz for welcoming Dignity Drawers into their space and partnering with us to make period products more accessible to our community. We’re so excited to see what this partnership grows into!
This location is especially convenient because the Dignity Drawer is easily accessible right from the sidewalk, so anyone who needs products can access the drawer without having to walk into the parking lot or enter the business.

They are also accepting product donations for Dignity Drawers, making it an easy way to donate pads, tampons, liners, wipes, and other menstrual products to help keep our drawers stocked. Please send Carol Herrell-Schanz a message to arrange donation drop off.

Thank you, Carol and H.W Herrell Distributing Company, for helping us continue building a community where access to period products is just that, accessible. 💜

Loaded up and ready to go!

Another Dignity Drawer is heading out into Jefferson County today! We’ll be getting it installed and stocked, and I’ll share the finished drawer and its new location once it’s all set up. Another little step toward making period products more accessible in our community. 💜

Period Poverty Looks Like…

When we brought our interactive banner to Tower Grove Pride, we asked one simple question: What has period poverty looked like in your life? The answers were written on blood-drop stickers and added to our banner throughout the weekend. Some shared experiences of having to miss school, go without products, improvise, or worry about where their next period product would come from.
By the end of the weekend, the banner was covered. And that’s exactly why we do what we do. Period poverty isn’t an abstract issue. It affects real people, their education, their work, their health, and their dignity.

Thank you to everyone who trusted us with their stories. We believe no one should have to choose between a basic necessity and everything else they need. 💜

We had such an incredible weekend celebrating community, connection, and the freedom to be exactly who you are Tower Grove Pride 💜 Tampie the Tampon made their rounds and got to meet SO many amazing people, organizations, and community groups! We loved getting to share what Dignity Drawers is all about and connect with so many people who believe that everyone deserves access to the menstrual products they need.

One of our favorite parts of the weekend was our “Period Poverty Looks Like…” interactive banner. We asked people to share their own experiences with period poverty, and the finished banner tells a powerful story. Every sticker represents a real experience, and together they show just how many people have been affected by the lack of access to menstrual products. Period poverty isn’t just a statistic. It’s something people experience.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared their story, supported our mission, took a picture with Tampie, or simply came over to learn more. And a huge thank you to for creating a space where community, inclusion, and advocacy could come together.

Period poverty shouldn’t exist. That’s why Dignity Drawers does. 💜
