We are absolutely blown away by the generosity and thoughtfulness of our GCMS families! A HUGE thank-you to everyone who donated food and treats for our teachers during parent-teacher conferences. After long evenings of meeting with families, being fed and cared for means so much. We are lucky to be part of such a thoughtful and supportive community! 🥰

Thank you to all the families who attended conferences and stopped by our book fair, too! We LOVE having you in our building and appreciate the partnership we share in helping our Rams grow and succeed. 📚❤️

🍧 KONA ICE IS BACK! 🍧

Our first Kona Ice day of the school year is Thursday, September 24th! 🎉

Kona Ice will be here during each grade level’s lunch, so students can grab a cool treat while enjoying their lunch break! 🍧😋

Students can prepay using the QR code or bring cash or a card to purchase their Kona Ice from the truck that day! 💳💵

And the best part? 20% of all Kona Ice sales comes right back to GCMS! ❤️💙

JOIN US TONIGHT FOR AN EVENING OF MUSIC!

The public is invited to join us for the Greene County CSD 7–12 Choir Concert tonight, Monday, October 19, at 7:00 PM!

Doors Open: 6:30 PM

Concert Begins: 7:00 PM

Parking: Both the north and south parking lots will be available.

The evening will begin with performances by our 7th-8th grade choir, followed by our 9th-12th grade choir. To close the concert, students from grades 7-12 will come together for a special combined performance!

It’s been an action-packed week here at the middle school, but moments like this remind us how lucky we are to have such wonderful community support

A HUGE shoutout to Deals Orchard for the amazing donuts (Mr. Gorman definitely approved 🍩👌) and to Pam Betts for the delicious cookies—which disappeared so fast they missed the photo op! 🍪💨

What an INCREDIBLE Middle School Cross Country season! Our runners gave it their all every single week, pushing through the miles, setting personal bests, and showing pure grit.

Congratulations to this week’s GCMS GROW Award recipients! Each week, four staff members are randomly selected to be recognized for helping make GCMS a positive, respectful, engaging, and safe place where all students and staff grow academically and socially.
